3 cups of pitted dates soaked in warm water for 30 minutes, then drained
7 tbs raw organic cacao powder
3 cups almond meal
1 tsp pure vanilla (not imitation)
3 tbs orange peel grated or finely chopped
Process dates, cacao powder, almond meal and vanilla in a food processor until well blended.
Transfer to a bowl and mix in orange peel.
Sprinkle coconut onto a plate.
Roll a tbs of mixture by hand into a ball and roll in the coconut.
Refrigerate for 1-2 hours and have a ball!! (makes approx 30 balls)

My emphasis is on alignment and safety. My aim is to ensure my students get the most out of every class they attend. For me, part of the joy of teaching is being creative with my sequences and making every class interesting with plenty of variety. I believe my classes are well balanced with breath work, asanas, meditation and relaxation.
Experiencing some upset in my personal life this year has encouraged me to reflect on the important things in life. I am grateful to live in a beautiful city in this amazing country with the biggest blue sky. Appreciate your friends and loved ones and treat everyone with love and respect.
Jackie is one of the founding members of the Mosman Yoga Co-op and has been teaching yoga for over 10 years. She currently teaches in a number of studios in the Lower North Shore as well as providing corporate and private classes.
